Robert Wilson, Head Professional, and John Wallace, PGA Teaching Professional, representing Foxtail Golf Course won the 2009 Cleveland Golf/Srixon Rocky Mountain PGA Facility Championship, contested at Falcon Crest Golf Club on Monday, July 13. The pair shot 65 in the morning four-ball (best ball) format and followed it up with a 2 under par 70 in the afternoon alternate shot (chapman) format, for a grand total of 9 under par 135.
Close behind, representing Hillcrest Country Club were PGA Members Dave Carollo and Lance Rieber, whose two-round total of 136 left them one stroke short of a playoff and a possible defense of their title.
The next highest finishing team from the same facility was the tandem of PGA Members Matt Ennis and Troy Dykstra from Quail Hollow Golf Club, with a 4-under par 140.
