Just Around the Corner
I noticed that on occasion you do some stories about the awesome golf in Colorado. When you get time, check out the Cornerstone community starting up there. We all hear the bad news every day about how these kinds of places are suffering with the economy, but Cornerstone is definitely something special and worth reporting on…

MWG—After a few additional inquiries we gave the Cornerstone a good look and have included a story on it in this issue. See Page 14.
Run Forrest, Run!
Just a short rant here to agree with Jeff Thomsen about unqualified “instructors” taking up space on our local driving ranges. I myself went through some of the rigors to become a PGA professional and while I didn’t go on into that profession, I certainly do respect it. Golf instruction is not easy. Certified teaching pros deserve credit for being able to do what they do. For some schmuck to claim the same credentials without that training is nothing short of infuriating to me. Keep the Thomsenisms coming, and if you ever see a “golf pro” in gym sneakers (and yeah, that’s all I wear these days), “Run Forrest, run!”

Thanks for the Show
After hearing about the possibility there would be no more Boise Golf Show, I was quite surprised and pleased to see your new show advertised for this February. We didn’t stay for as long as we would’ve liked, but it was a fun time and enjoyable, especially with all those door prizes! Our granddaughter especially liked the putting contest and she even walked away with a free 6-iron from the local PGA. Thanks again for starting this show.
